Food Name:Fire-Baked Bananas
Ingredients:2 fresh bananas 1 cup cream, fresh and whipped (250ml) 2 tablespoons Amarula Cream Liqueur (30ml) 8 ounces cooking chocolate, dark (250g) 8 ounces walnuts, chopped (250g) 1 cup honey (250 ml)
Directions:Heat up your barbeque. Whip the cream until stiff peaks can be formed. Then fold the Cream Liqueur into the mixture. Cover and refrigerate until needed. Over medium coals place the bananas, still in peel, onto the grill. Heat bananas until the peel turns black. Remove the bananas from the grill, split the skin of the banana open. In a saucepan, over medium heat, melt the chocolate. Once melted add the walnuts and honey, stirring constantly. The Plate Place the split bananas onto individual serving plates. Pour a generous helping of chocolate sauce over each banana and then a very generous scoop of the Amarula whipped cream.
